So we did make it back to Arizona!! It has just taken me a while to get back into things and the blog has felt it! So here is a quick recap of Christmas and our last couple of week in Utah and Idaho. We went snowmobiling,
sledding,
sledding,

made snow angels,
played Rock Band (so fun!),

saw the lights on Temple Square

and just had so much fun with the family.
Christmas was wonderful - Heber surprised me with a new sewing machine!!! I was so excited! It is a Singer and though not the most expensive one, it is definitely ten times better then the one I have. Jenessa got a Baby Alive which she wanted so bad and has loved ever since.
Taiya especially just loved opening the presents and wanted to open anything wrapped whether hers or not!
It was a really wonderful holiday though crazy because we drove between Idaho and Utah. We decided this is the last year we drive back and forth it is just too much on the holidays!I was happy that by the end of the six weeks Taiya and Taylee (my sister's little girl, they are 4 weeks apart) finally became friends! By the time we left Taiya would refer to Taylee as "my friend" and they loved to play "make over" together, each curling the others hair. This was a huge step forward because at the beginning they could hardly stand each other!

So now we are home and settled. We had a wonderful time with our families and loved seeing everyone, but it was good to come back to our own space. My girls still miss everyone a ton though. Everyday since we have been home Taiya has asked to go to Nana's house, she says "Pleeease go Nana's house?" and the other day we were going to the store and I said "ok, let's go!" and Taiya said "To Nana's house?! Hurray!"
Heber is gone this month to Kingman, AZ, which is about 3 hours away, doing an ER rotation. We see him less this away rotation then any of the others, but it ends in two weeks and you can handle anything for two weeks right?!?! That's what I tell myself anyway!

What a fun holiday you guys had! I went snowmobiling once and it was just soooo fun - I'm totally jealous! Heber sure has been doing a lot of away rotations - what a bummer!
I'm glad you guys had so much fun! I'm sorry we weren't able to get together after Christmas--I called your cell, but didn't get an answer and I didn't have your mom's new number. Then, Mimma and Granddad came over and gave it to us, but the day got too busy. So, sorry I didn't get to see you for very long--it's been crazy for your family and for mine. I really haven't heard much from your family since they moved--but things get busy. Glad your home, and I'm sorry Heber's gone, but, you're right--it's only 2 weeks. You can do it!
Love ya,
Savannah
Liora! Your a champ! I hope I do just as well in Feb.
Looks like you guys had a great time at your family's house. And all that snow how fun.
It was so good to see you guys! I can't believe how big the kids get in the 7 months we were gone!! How is kingman? That would be super hard to have the man of the house gone! Glad you are surviving!! only 2 weeks!
How fun! I'm glad that you guys had a good time up here in good ol' UT! The pics are great...especially the one of you rocking at Guitar Rock. I love that Taiya and Taylee gave each other mini makeovers in their diapers! Those pics just crack me up!
You're looking great and best of luck over the next few weeks!
Enjoyed reading over the recap. I love your girls and it was so nice to see pictures of them happy. Also, a sewing machine...wahooo!!!! I hope you can do all your wonderful inventive projects now with confidance. :)
