I realized I have quite a few things I could post about - for some reason I procrastinate until I have a lot instead of just staying on top of it! So here it goes...
I saw this picture and it makes me realize just how cute Taiya is! Sometimes I forget! ;) Not really, but just for the record I really do love her a ton even though she can make me crazy some days. She really is such a cute little girl!
One of our favorite Sunday activities is to walk to the park and feed the ducks, fish and turtles! We haven't gone in a while so it was especially exciting last week when we went. Notice Taiya wearing tennis shoes with her dress? She loves them! We got them for camping and they have become her most favorite shoes. We have even had battles before church about her wearing her
tennis shoes with her Sunday dress! One of our favorite parts of feeding the ducks is getting the turtles to come out and eat! We scored this time - we
got two turtles this time!
We have a nightly ritual where we carry the girls into bed "a silly way." Jenessa is forever trying to some up with the silliest way yet, thus leading to some pretty unique poses! Heber is such a good sport as she climbs all over him trying to perfect her silly pose for the night! Here is her latest.
My Dad came into town last week on a business trip. The girls were so excited to see Papa! We went out to dinner and they kept doing and saying anything they could think of just to have Papa's attention! It was really funny! Taiya would say "Papa! Papa! Look.............light!"
And Jenessa packed a purse full of treasures to show him, it consisted of a painted pumpkin, a rock, a bracelet, and a rubber band - and she showed all of them! He had a hotel but the girls begged him and finally convinced him to stay with us. They had a wonderful tickle match and Jenessa even got a horsey ride! It was so nice to see my Dad - even if it was for just a second!
