Taevin is 2!

I can't believe this sweet boy is already TWO!!

The day of his birthday was actually kinda crazy! I taught Taiya's co-op preschool class that morning and the girls had gymnastics that afternoon, plus Heber had to work all day, so we didn't really do much in the day.  We did put streamers up the night before, and he LOVED running through them all day.  They actually stayed up a lot longer than I thought they would!

In the afternoon we went and got balloons,

and then his friend Zeb Miller, and his family, came over to play, eat dinner, and have cake and ice cream with us.  Both Zeb and Taevin LOVE trains, so they have a love/hate relationship.  They love to play trains together but sometimes they also love to fight over the trains!  For Taevin's birthday dinner we had waffles with strawberries (which he loves), and a train cake for dessert.  It was fun having the Miller's over to celebrate with us. 

Just before bed we gave Taevin his presents...nothing much, just a nerf sword and some clothes.  He loves the sword! I am always amazed how little boys instinctively know what to do with swords. 

We sure love our little man - he adds such a different flavor to our family.  He has rocked my world, he is just such a boy and has come with everything that entails....destroying everything in sight, climbing on everything, needing aggressive outlets, having to be watched every minute to keep him out of mischief.....but he is also my most cuddly, can be the sweetest little boy, says sorry quickly, loves to give hugs and kisses, will just want to be held, protects his sisters (in his own 2 year old way), thinks he is the man of the house, can be a total momma's boy but then want to wrestle it out with Dad.  He really is just our own little adventure and keeps our life exciting and us on our toes.....we wouldn't have it any other way!  We love you T-Dude!!

Some things about Taevin at 2:

* He LOVES trains or choo-choos as he calls them
* He has to shake the missionaries hands when we walk into church
* He likes to sit on the counter and help me cook
* He loves to watch Heber fly his remote controlled airplane and will even bring it to Heber to have him fly it
* He likes to eat fruit, noodles, juice and milk
* He loves to play with Taiya
