Heber came home from his rotation tonight with a perma-grin on. His preceptor (the doctor he is following) just got a brand new Tesla Roadster two weeks ago , the first and only 100% electric car, that goes 0-60 in 3.7 secs. and SHE LET HEBER DRIVE IT BETWEEN THE HOSPITALS!!! This is comparable to other high end sportscars like the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano! He was like a kid in a candy shop - it was the best driving experience of his life. He has now seen his dream car.....maybe one day.....

Now for some other news that should have been posted a long time ago...Heber matched into his #1 residency program choice in Emergency Medicine and we are headed to Toledo, Ohio. We move out there June 8 and will be there for three years. He graduates on June 5 at 10:00 a.m. - so whoever wants to come is welcome!! :) (we don't really expect to see you all there!!)
We are so proud of him - it has been such a long road and it is so nice to see the end in sight, sort of. Residency will be an adventure for sure - and will also be another long, hard road with intense hours but at least we are one step closer! YAY! I love you Heber, you are amazing!
