Last week we Heber got an unexpected day off from his rotation, so we decided to head over to Disneyland at the last minute. Can I just say, I absolutely LOVE Disneyland!! It helped that my awesome cousin, Aaron, gave us free tickets when we were in Utah this past July. He works at Disneyworld and just happened to have 3 extra tickets with him when we saw him.
We ended up leaving for California on Wednesday afternoon, the 22; playing all day in Disneyland on Thursday, then driving back to Arizona that night after the park closed. We ended up getting home at about 2:30 a.m. It was crazy fast, but it was soooo much fun, and the girls loved it!
Of course we had to see princesses - Taiya was absolutely enthralled with them, especially Ariel. She just kept hugging her and saying, "I love Ariel." Ariel was in human form when we met her and told us how her Dad gave her feet - Taiya talked about that all day - "her daddy gave her feet, even, she doesn't have a tail!" We went to the princess storytime and listened to Mulan and Cinderella;

and danced around the may pole with Sleeping Beauty, Jasmin and Ariel.
In the midst of all this, Taiya never fails to surprise me! Jenessa was in heaven the whole time with the princesses and didn't want to miss a minute. Taiya however tends to be more grumpy and high maintance!! As they were starting to dance around the may pole with Sleeping Beauty, Taiya started throwing a huge fit about who-knows-what and sat on the bench with me crying the whole time. What girl does that when Sleeping Beauty is dancing with you at Disneyland???

Jenessa could go on everything which was fun - the big rides were her favorites, like Splash Mountain, Space Mountain and the Indiana Jones Ride.
We saw tons of other characters throughout the park - Mickey (who Taiya also couldn't stop hugging),
Captain Jack Sparrow, 
Wendy,
Aladdin (Taiya would not take a picture with him),
and Mary Poppins 
(Jenessa was invited up to dance with her and Bert). 
We had such a wonderful time, even though it was a fast trip.

Looks like you've been having fun! Your kids are so cute--Ky keeps asking me if we can go to Disneyland where all the Princess' live. Maybe sometime!
I so LOVE disneyland too. My favorite place!! We're making plans for our disneyland trip at Christmas, but I hate waiting!
