We have had so much fun this week with Heber home on Spring Break!! Jenessa was counting down the days until Daddy didn't have to study anymore and he could play with us. She kept asking him "Daddy, now can you play with us?"
We had a lot of fun shopping together, watching movies, going to the library and just hanging out, but here are some of the highlights of our week:
Saturday the 24 - We went as a family and helped Kaj Johnson with his Eagle project of planting trees. We were a little late and so many people showed up to help that we were only able to plant one tree, but Jenessa had so much fun shoveling the dirt in the hole to fill it up after the tree was planted.
Sunday the 25 - We had a fun get together at the Nunes' home. We BBQed and played games, it was so nice to just relax and hang out with great friends!
Tuesday the 27 - We had a picnic and flew kites at Carmel park with Matt and Britani. It was the first time kite flying for Jenessa and Taiya and they both had a blast!
Wednesday the 28 - Heber and I had a wonderful date night, thanks to Ashley for babysitting!! We went miniature golfing and go cart racing at Cracker Jax, window shopping at the mall, and to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. We had never eaten there before and it was sssooooo good!! It was so wonderful to have a little one-on-one time!
Thursday the 1 - We took the girls hiking on the trails north of Arrowhead. They had fun climbing over the rocks and getting dirty. Taiya insisted on walking by herself no matter what!! She tripped and fell at least a half a dozen times, but even after falling she refused to hold our hands. She is definitely one independent little girl!!
Friday the 2 - We went to the Wildlife World Zoo. It was so much fun!! We loved getting so up close to the animals - we held Lory's on our hands and fed them apples (the girls were in seventh heaven!), fed the giraffes, and were almost peed on by the panther!! All in all it was a very exciting day at the zoo.
Thus ended our wonderful week with Dad!

Liora, You finnaly have a blog. I love all of your pictures. It sure was fun hanging out with you and your family this week.
Your family had a very full week! It's so fun to keep busy with family outings! I'm sad that Spring Break is over :(
